I originally created this for my own morning routine—to have something meaningful in front of me while getting dressed that would remind me to spiritually prepare for the day. As we put on our clothes each morning, this prayer walks through putting on the Belt of Truth, Breastplate of Righteousness, Shoes of Peace, Shield of Faith, Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit.
